Q: Who will review my application?
A: All grant request applications will be reviewed by a confidential committee created by Whet Foundation of independent, unaffiliated members of our community.
Q: What criteria will be used to determine who receives a grant?
A: The committee will review each grant request using objective need-based criteria taking into account the specific facts and circumstances of each application. Please note that all applications will be processed in the order they are received by the committee. The committee may require follow-up information in order to complete the application process. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Q: If my grant application is approved, how will I receive relief funds?
A: Disbursements will be made by electronic transfer such as Veem, or other methods as reasonably determined by the committee.
Q: Will my grant application remain anonymous?
A: Yes, outside of the internal committee members and certain employees supporting in an administrative function, your identity will remain anonymous.
Q: How long will the COVID-19 Relief Fund remain active?
A: The COVID-19 Relief Fund will remain active so long as funds exist and our team members and community are faced with hardship related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Q: May I apply more than once for a grant from the Relief Fund?
A: Yes, you may reapply after 30 days if funds are available.
Again, all applications are granted in the order they are received.
Q: What if I am unable to complete the application on my own?
A: Applicants who are facing accessibility issues or need assistance filling out an application should email [email protected] or ask a manager for support in submitting an application.
